Lonely Planet's senior destination writer, Annemarie McCarthy, is commissioning writers with French destination expertise for digital articles and guidebooks. As stated in her Tweet. “Writers based in France and with destination expertise outside Paris particularly welcome. Native French speakers are also encouraged to apply but note all assignments will be English.” The rates start at $350 for digital articles and $1,500 for guidebooks, but “are hugely dependent on workload, research etc.” Fill out the contributor form by next Friday, November 1.

(Well, sometimes frivolous is OK.) Most of all, we are interested in publishing writers with original voices."
