Introduce Yourself to Huffington Post's Newest Editorial Leaders

HuffPost just announced their newest Editorial Leaders: Whitney Snyder, who has worked at HuffPost his whole adult life, joined right out of college in 2008, as an assistant to cofounder Arianna Huffington, and never left. Now he's running the place as Editor In Chief.
Snyder has shaped the voice of HuffPost and its news coverage for more than fourteen years, helping make it — and keep it — a destination news site through a tumultuous period in media, and brings a clear editorial vision to the role. Snyder has extensive experience in HuffPost’s editorial and operations, as he has managed the Front, Audience, Breaking, Copy, National, Politics, Trends and Video teams. A graduate of Brown University.
Kate Palmer will be expanding her role as the sole Executive Editor at HuffPost and working closely with BuzzFeed’s business team to set up the newsroom for strategic growth. She has been with the publication since 2012, having previously been National Editor, Managing Editor and Editorial Director for Lifestyle. She launched HuffPost Life in 2017, and has overseen the growth of HuffPost Shopping and Personal, the relaunch of Voices, and HuffPost Culture, as well as its new Membership program. Prior to her time at HuffPost, she spent three years at The Onion as Managing Editor and published a parody encyclopedia, The Onion Book of Known Knowledge. She began her career at Foreign Policy in Washington, where she was most recently Deputy Managing Editor. She’s a graduate of the University of Florida and is now based in New York, where she stays busy outside of work learning Gen Alpha slang from her two daughters and traveling as much as possible.
