Future Perfect, Vox Has A New Deputy Editor, Meet Izzie Ramirez

Izzie Ramirez graduated from New York University with a double majors in Honors Journalism and Global Liberal Studies (Politics, Rights and Development).

At NYU, she served the Editor-in-Chief of NYU Local, the most read on-campus news blog. Her staff doggedly covered NYU's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, often breaking news before the University itself did. During her tenure, views doubled from 160,000 - 410,000.

She also written for VICE, Bitch Media, Gen, Gothamist, Eater and the New York Times.
