In addition to extending its partnership with Pyer Moss, Reebok announces Kerby Jean-Raymond as the Artistic Director of Reebok Studies__, a new division leading the development of creative talent and ideas.
Jean-Raymond, designer and founder of Pyer Moss, has been collaborating with Reebok since 2017 when his label initially came together with the sportswear company.
Jean-Raymond reportedly pitched the idea of Reebok Studies__ to then-interim head of Reebok Classics, Neal Taylor, in 2018, in hopes of cultivating young designers. Fast forward and Reebok Studies__ will now develop one subject at a time, whether designer, athlete, or product. The overall aim of the division is to grow the brand by developing creative talent, as Jean-Raymond looks to sign rising designers, artists, and personalities, as well as create quality collaborations.
The first point of business for the Pyer Moss designer is to work alongside current Reebok collaborators. Jean-Raymond has reportedly already appointed a managing director for Reebok Studies__, although the name has yet to be announced.
This is all we have on Kerby Jean-Raymond and Reebok Studies__ for now, but as always, be sure to stay tuned for more.
