Bon Appétit and Epicurious Looking For Associate Food Editor
The Bon Appétit and Epicurious Test Kitchen is responsible for creating compelling original recipes that live across both brands and all of our platforms, including the websites, social channels, digital video, Epicurious app, and BA print magazine.
This Associate Food Editor position is responsible for generating all types of recipe content and working across all stages of the content production cycle from pitching to recipe development, cross-testing, and working with our video, social, and photo teams. This position requires an ability to translate culinary knowledge into actionable recipes geared towards home cooks—they’re looking for someone who is excited to engage with and create for our audiences. It also requires the ability to collaborate with both staff and contributing recipe developers and chefs, and help turn others’ culinary vision into accessible content.
GQ Looking For Style/Service Editor
GQ is looking for a Style/Service Editor to create content that provides useful info on how to live a more stylish life. This person will write and assign style, grooming, and wellness stories primarily for the web and newsletters, but may work across all platforms including print, video, podcast, events, etc. as needed. They will work with GQ’s audience development and commerce team to strategically identify topic areas that are ripe for audience growth, while finding unique and creative ways to cover those topics.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in SEO and conversations happening on social media; possess a clear, distinctive voice; and have a rolodex of similarly stylish expert writers. They should have experience writing and editing for a digital publication, assigning to a budget, and programming coverage to key moments on the editorial calendar. This role reports to GQ’s Site Director.
SheKnows Looking For Commerce Writer
The Commerce Writer will be a key SheKnows editorial team member, working closely with the Commerce Editor to craft shoppable stories across all verticals and help manage the site’s e-commerce efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience creating product-driven content for women (specifically moms) and experience in digital publishing, including SEO best practices and how to package content for multiple distribution platforms. Success in this role requires an impeccable knowledge of products/retailers across various categories and a demonstrated understanding of driving affiliate revenue while adhering to SheKnows’ voice, taste level, and visual aesthetic.
