EARTH ISLAND JOURNAL LOOKING FOR PITCHES

ABOUT: Earth Island Journal is an essential voice in environmental journalism, spotlighting the activists, communities, and movements working to protect our planet’s biological and cultural diversity. Blending investigative reporting with powerful storytelling, the publication explores climate justice, conservation, and the human impact of environmental change.

Earth Island Institute seeks pitches for Earth Island Journal’s special education and the environment edition, with a focus on schools. They welcome reports, essays, and reflections. 

Payment ranges from $400 to $1,500, including $500 for short pieces, interviews, and $400 for book reviews.

Shadowbanned Magazine seeks a fierce, unapologetic piece for Issue 05 that explores politics and culture.
