Aliyah Rodriguez brings a wealth of experience to The Spruce, having worked in lifestyle journalism for over three years. Her love for creating beautiful spaces traces back to childhood memories of watching design shows with her mother and assisting her father with home projects.

Since joining The Spruce, Rodriguez has made an impact through her curation of original content including their series "Renting Outside the Lines," and championing diversity, always spotlighting Black designers.

The Spruce’s community is excited to see how Rodriguez will shape the future of the brand while staying true to its roots of accessible, inspiring content.

The past two years has been a whirlwind of experiences: from learning to manage writers, to assisting with (and writing for!) editor spotlights and sold packages, to interviewing childhood heroes—needless to say I’ve experienced a lot.
