STYLED BY JASON BOLDEN: TARAJI P. HENSON WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO WEAR A ROBE TO YOUR NEXT BLACK TIE AFFAIR
Taraji P. Henson is certainly not shy when it comes to going all-out on the red carpet. The actress who gave life to Cookie Lyons, one of television's most memorable fashion fiends, has proven time and again that she's got style chops of her own, fictional character aside. But while Cookie tends to be a more-is-more, pile-it-on kinda gal on "Empire," Henson herself knows how to make a statement that's a bit more understated.
Case in point: this Roberto Cavalli robe dress, worn to the premiere of "Acrimony," Henson's latest film. It might be "just" a white dress paired with embellished strappy heels and some Kimberly McDonald jewelry, but the pajama-robe silhouette, luxe details (including white damask fabric and silver trim) and dangerously high slit make it a touch more risky. Luckily, Henson and her stylist Jason Bolden know their way around a wardrobe challenge, and aced this one as they so often do. Thanks for giving us another excuse to wear pajamas out of the house.
