His journey into journalism was unexpected—starting out with dreams of a music career, he found himself writing after deep connections in the hip-hop world led him to an interview with The Notorious B.I.G. for his first assignment. He also worked with major platforms like Black Enterprise, where he helped increase their site traffic from 400,000 to over 10 million monthly visitors. Despite challenges, including editorial interference, he’s proud of his contributions and loyal to his roots.
