Glamour Has New Opening For European Fashion Editor

The European Fashion Editor is a member of the Global Fashion Network and is responsible for creating, advising and executing fashion content across the brand and its platforms, including print, digital, video, social. They also lend their fashion expertise to e-commerce projects and special events. This role works with the GFN Lead, GFN editors and the Glamour Editorial Lead on the creation and coordination of both global and local fashion content. The role oversees the Glamour Fashion Assistant based in Spain and works closely with Glamour editors based in the US.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create fashion ideas that live across a range of areas - print, digital, video, e-commerce, events
Responsible for the fashion execution for editorial and special projects, requesting of rtw and accessories, coordination of shoot logistics
Work closely with stylists and editors on their needs, inclusion of brands and designers suggestions
May style shoots
Clear and constant communication with GFN editors and Glamour Editorial team
Discovery of new design talent and knowledge of latest initiatives from brands and designers
Collaborating within the Global Fashion Network on editorial and special projects as needed.
Support brand initiatives i.e. WOTY
Oversight of Glamour Fashion Assistant (Spain based); Manage the team’s work flow and needs
Attend press appointments and manage strong relationships with PR firms and senior leadership at brands
Monthly tracking of editorial coverage of brands and proactively manages issues and business needs
