Lauren Tousignant, Jezebel's New Editor-in-Chief

Lauren Tousignant is an editor, writer, and comedian in New York City. Currently, she is the interim Editor-in-Chief of Jezebel, where she was hired as Senior Editor in May 2022. Her work has been featured in New York Magazine, McSweeney’s, The Belladonna, Decider, and the New York Post, among others.

She have written and reported on a variety of topics like the Women’s World Cup, Paris Fashion Week, and gravitational-wave astronomy. (But this might be her favorite piece she have ever written.) In 2019, her piece, “The Battle At John F. Kennedy International Airport, 1776,” was the seventh most-read article on McSweeney’s.
