Zia Thompson, Bloomberg's New Audience Engagement Editor

Zia is a Los Angeles-based audience engagement editor for Bloomberg, helping frame and package AI and technology coverage for social and digital platforms.

Previously she was an audience engagement editor at BuzzFeed News, covering a wide range of topics including politics, health, and trending stories for digital audiences. There, she also wrote stories on TikTok Trends and pop culture moments. In 2018, she was a recipient of Facebook’s Content Strategy Fellowship.

She is a graduate of Howard University. When she takes a break from the internet, you can find her at a concert enjoying live music or traveling with her friends.
