WIRED Is Looking For Social Media Manager
WIRED is looking for a creative and innovative social media journalism talent in London to join our global audience development, social, and analytics team. A perfect candidate will understand and want to dig into key social media platforms inside and out, and also be clued into emerging networks and creative opportunities to showcase the best of WIRED on social platforms. This role will work closely with WIRED’s editors and designers on the optimization of content for WIRED’s social platforms, and will develop, write and execute engagement and content ideas on all social platforms. They will be responsible for writing and publishing daily social posts to WIRED’s core social media accounts and will work to increase audience engagement, overall social referrals, the size of WIRED’s loyal audience and increase awareness of WIRED’s content. This London-based position will play a key role in the global promotional strategy for WIRED’s stories, and will work closely with colleagues on the audience development team in the UK and US. This role is on a quickly moving team and so good humor, flexibility and a desire to understand and explain news is a must. They will report to the Associate Director of Social Media at WIRED, and will work on a day-to-day basis with the team’s UK audience development manager. They will also be part of the Global Audience Development, Social, and Analytics team at Condé Nast.
Hearst UK is Looking For Lifestyle Writer
The role of the lifestyle writer involves creating and delivering quality review content across both print and digital, covering existing areas including beauty, food & drink, wellness and homes, as well as helping to launch new categories such as parenting and pets. This role requires someone who is up to date with all the latest lifestyle trends and product releases and can bring them to life through sparkling copy and creative formats.
The lifestyle writer will work with the content and testing teams to help create and update the testing calendar, ensuring results are delivered on time to meet copy deadlines. They will work with the video team to provide scripts and give feedback on edits, helping to bring our testing process to life. They will pitch content ideas to digital and print editors across the Hearst titles. They will also liaise with the accreditation team to ensure we’re delivering on our commercial targets.
