The ideal candidate is comfortable conceptualizing, writing, editing, and assigning beauty and style content that lives in digital, social, and print environments. This person should also be able to confidently manage multiple deadlines at once and seamlessly collaborate with sales and marketing teams, art directors, designers, and freelance writers. This role will ladder up to the Associate Director, Native Edit.
Shape's Commerce Team is Looking for Senior Commerce Editor
Shape’s commerce team is seeking a Senior Editor to lead the brand’s evergreen library. The ideal candidate is a digitally savvy editor who is passionate about all things beauty and fitness. Previous digital writing and editing experience is a must, preferably around best-of lists and/or product reviews. You must be able to provide published clips of your work.
As the site’s Senior Commerce Editor, you will be responsible for commerce content strategy and execution, including managing a team of freelance writers, assigning and editing new product roundups and reviews to network of top product testers, updating existing content with fresh data or new product releases, producing and publishing content in CMS, and tracking and analyzing the success of all editorial efforts. This job requires both analytical and editorial skills to help you make the best decisions for readers.
