As Senior Beauty Editor for Marie Claire you will be responsible for running the Hair & Beauty channel on the Marie Claire website, understanding what people are searching for and when, and then delivering best-in-class content that meets their information and inspiration needs. As well as being a beauty specialist you’ll have a deep understanding of the Hair, Skincare and Makeup verticals, being able to write authentically and effortlessly about each, taking a differentiated approach to beauty content that is high-tech, forensic, scientific and ethics driven. You’ll have an innate understanding of the Marie Claire brand and the ability to interpret its DNA to create compelling, shareable stories and high performing content that resonates with audiences across all platforms.
Requirements
- A deep passion for and a highly developed understanding of beauty
- A scientific knowledge of all beauty verticals including hair, beauty, skin and makeup
- Proven ability to write well researched, high-quality, engaging. best-in-class content
- Excellent industry contacts and relationships
- First-rate SEO expertise and a keen interest in and understanding of analytical tools, which you’ll use to inform content creation
