Nina Parker Makes History With Plus-Size Collection at Macy’s
Nina Parker has worn many hats: television personality, producer, host, and cultural voice of reason. Now, in 2025, she’s added fashion designer to that list, making history as the first Black woman to launch a plus-size clothing line at Macy’s.
The Nina Parker Collection is built on one clear vision: clothes that celebrate curves without compromise. “I wanted to create something where you can wear these outfits, see yourself in them, and still feel chic,” Parker says. From sleek dresses to versatile separates, her designs put confidence and comfort on equal footing.

For Parker, the idea was always intentional. She and her partners pitched Macy’s directly, knowing the industry needed a fresh take on plus-size fashion. “We had a plus-size line in mind, and we thought, ‘Well, let’s do it,’” she explains. The result is a collection that doesn’t ask women to squeeze into shapewear to feel beautiful. “I’m making clothes for girls who are thick and don’t feel like they need Spanx when they get dressed.”

The debut took place at Harlem Fashion Week, a choice that underscores Parker’s connection to Black culture and community.
“I love anything Black,” she says. “I don’t always feel like New York Fashion Week is for us, but I know Harlem Fashion Week is.”
Beyond the racks, Parker is asking her community to rally behind her.
“Please buy, please support. We need support, we need Black support. Please uplift it — and tag me!”

With this groundbreaking partnership, Nina Parker is more than a designer. She’s a movement reshaping how the fashion world sees plus-size women and reminding us that chic has no size limit.
