EDITORIAL MOVES

This week’s editorial movies shines a spotlight on three professionals embarking on new roles that will influence the shaping of stories at today’s most important platforms like Essence Communications, CNN Travel  and ForbesWomen.

Francesca Street is the New Senior Writer at CNN Travel

“I'm really excited and grateful to have been promoted to Senior Writer at CNN! I love being part of such a brilliant team at CNN Travel, and I am so thankful to them all for their support. I look forward to continuing to be part of a creative, fun, and innovative team, and to the opportunity to write and narrate more Travel related articles and content.”

Francesca Street is a London-based digital journalist at CNN Travel and the creator-host of the podcast Chance Encounters. Her deeply human stories — unexpected love stories on flights, friendships born in airports — have earned her awards, including the Breaking Travel News Award and a 30 Under 30 Young Journalists Gold Award. Through Chance Encounters, she’s built a global audience that craves real, cinematic travel narratives rooted in vulnerability and connection.

Tips: Forbes For Stylists Suite creators, pitching Francesca means leaning into those themes: propose stories that center on authentic connection through travel, identity, or community — not just destinations or products. Emails that reference her past pieces or the spirit of her podcast are likely to stand out.
