THE HUSTLE IS LOOKING FOR PITCHES
Katherine Laidlaw, Editor of The Hustle. For their Sunday newsletter, she’s looking for pitches of reported feature stories on business, tech, and the economy.
The rate would start at $0.80-$1 per word, based on 1,500-1,800 words.

HIGH COUNTRY NEWS IS LOOKING FOR PITCHES
High Country News covers the American West in all its richness and complexity. It publishes features, reportage, essays, opinion, photography, and art .Editors are seeking pitches that fit one or more of its five main sections: climate change, land, waters, wildlife, and Indigenous affairs.
The rate would start at $1 per word for reported pieces and $0.50/word for essays/reviews, 650–8,000 words.

Nonprofit Quarterly (NPQ), a leading online and print journal, has launched a series entitled “We Stood Up” that seeks first-person stories from workers, activists, and organizers who speak about their workplace organizing experiences and much more.
