A Friendly Reminder that Cosmopolitan is Still Looking for Feature Pitches
I'm *always* reviewing pitches, but especially looking for: snack-y/sassy featurettes and longish-form trend pieces; smart, reported narratives on Big Topics and niche obsessions alike.

Elizabeth Kiefer, Features Editor at Cosmopolitan posted this on Monday.

"Just a friendly reminder for those interested in pitching Cosmo features: Tight, clear pitches are preferred to pre-written stories. (I've noticed this happening... a lot lately.) I'm *always* reviewing pitches, but especially looking for: snack-y/sassy featurettes and longish-form trend pieces; smart, reported narratives on Big Topics and niche obsessions alike ... but esp STORIES: compelling characters, twists, turns, humanity. Also, would encourage everyone to ask themselves a question before hitting send: "Beyond something I want to write, is this story something that—if someone else had written it—*I* would want to read?"
