Architectural Digest is Looking For a Creative, Proactive, Full-Time Associate Digital Features Editor to Join its Digital Business
The ideal candidate should have experience creating content about design and architecture as well as how those topics relate to travel, technology, pop culture, real estate, auto, celebrities, and more. The Associate Digital Features Editor will have a non-stop flow of original ideas, a gift with words, a proven instinct to shape and edit compelling narratives; and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proactively pitch features, and write accepted pitches as well as high-impact content in collaboration with audience development teams
- Write daily features and news, plus manage and edit freelancers
- Develop meaningful contacts and awareness of pop culture, news, and trends
- Produce magazine stories for digital publication and promotional use
- Support editorial and business initiatives as needed
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience with a related brand(s) or media publisher
- Impeccable editorial judgment, writing, and ability to capture AD’s voice to reach new and established audiences
- Proven ability to work independently, quickly, and remain organized and efficient
- A passion for design and architecture and a strong sense for identifying stories through those lenses
- Familiarity with CMS, content optimization, social platforms, and related skills

The Associate Digital Design Editor will have a non-stop flow of original ideas, a gift with words, a proven instinct to shape and edit compelling narratives; and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
