Datwon Thomas

VIBE Magazine's Editor-In-Chief

Datwon Thomas is the Editor-In-Chief of VIBE Magazine and Vice President of Cultural Media for MRC. Mr. Thomas held positions as Founder and Editorial Director of the men's lifestyle guide, KING Magazine; the urban car enthusiast's favorite, RIDES Magazine; and was the Editor-in-Chief of hip-hop's street authority, XXL Magazine. In addition he's also presided as Founder/Editorial Director of XXL Presents Hip-Hop Soul, a publication dedicated to documenting the successful hybrid genre of R&B and Hip-Hop. Thomas was also EIC of hip-hop photojournalistic magazine RESPECT. He reps Brooklyn to the fullest and loves tacos.

Carl Lamarr

Billboard's Deputy Director of R&B/Hip-Hop

Carl Lamarre is an experienced music and sports journalist on a voracious mission to shift the culture. After writing for XXL, Complex, Billboard, Pepsi, Global Grind among other publications, he has proven to be well-versed in the music scene and exploring the artistry of many prominent figures.

Tara Donaldson

WWD's Executive Editor

Tara Donaldson is an executive editor at WWD and formerly the editorial director of Sourcing Journal. She have covered the business of fashion from textiles to retail, bringing to light issues surrounding sustainability, social impact and inclusion. She have a master’s degree in journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in business and fashion merchandising from California State University, Los Angeles.

Manori Ravindran

Variety's Executive Editor of International and Senior Writer

Manori Ravindran is Executive Editor of International and Senior Writer at Variety magazine. Based out of London, she manages the global team of correspondents, in addition to reporting on the international film and TV markets. She is a frequent presence at major film festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Toronto, as well as TV confabs like Mipcom and Series Mania. She was previously Editor of Television Business International magazine, and prior to that, International Editor of U.K. trade weekly Broadcast.
