You will ensure the consistent delivery of original, engaging, informative content of the highest quality, demonstrating an understanding of how to connect with a diverse male audience interested in optimising their physical and mental health. You will be tasked with pioneering the brand’s pivot into membership, creating a content experience worth paying for and staying for. As a visionary leader, you will manage a platform agnostic team of talented editors, writers and designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment with the purpose of growing the brand and developing new revenue streams.
Hearst UK is Looking For Lifestyle Writer
The role of the lifestyle writer involves creating and delivering quality review content across both print and digital, covering existing areas including beauty, food & drink, wellness and homes, as well as helping to launch new categories such as parenting and pets. This role requires someone who is up to date with all the latest lifestyle trends and product releases and can bring them to life through sparkling copy and creative formats.
The lifestyle writer will work with the content and testing teams to help create and update the testing calendar, ensuring results are delivered on time to meet copy deadlines. They will work with the video team to provide scripts and give feedback on edits, helping to bring our testing process to life. They will pitch content ideas to digital and print editors across the Hearst titles. They will also liaise with the accreditation team to ensure we’re delivering on our commercial targets.
PEOPLE is Looking For Associate Editor To Join Digital Evergreen Team
This position will involve assigning and editing search-driven content for PEOPLE across our various verticals, from entertainment, royals and lifestyle content to crime, human interest and political stories. This person must be an impeccable editor as well as a digitally-savvy pop culture and celebrity expert, with knowledge of SEO best practices and basic analytics.
PEOPLE is a fast-paced newsroom, so speed is essential along with an ability to handle 2-3 long-form edits per day while still delivering clean and accurate work. We’re looking for a self-sufficient editor who is comfortable recruiting and managing freelance writers, as well as using SEO tools to find and brainstorm new content. This position will also involve working on various projects across different departments and communicating with stakeholders.
