Media Credentials for the MTV Movie & TV Awards are now Open.
The credential application for the 2019 “MTV Movie & TV Awards” is now open here:
The deadline to apply is Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 9:00 PM in your time zone.
Please note that this is a call for credentials and we may not be able to accommodate all requests due to space constraints. Once you fill out the application, as we get closer to the event, you will receive a confirmation email if you have been approved or denied to cover the event.
By applying for credentials, you are automatically AGREEING to all embargo terms.
The 2019 “MTV Movie & TV Awards” is NOT a live show, and will TAPE at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. PT (the red carpet will take place from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. PT). The show will air on Monday, June 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
• We are offering a Press Viewing lounge, which is a viewing / working space for reporters during the show. Talent will not be present for interviews in this space. We are only able to accommodate one reporter per outlet in the Press Viewing Lounge.
• Due to space limitations, we are unable to accept in-house ticket requests.
• If you are a freelancer requesting press credentials or using a personal email account, please include your assigning editor's contact information on the application or ask that they complete the form on your behalf. We will not be able to credential unassigned freelancers.
