As a storyteller for communities of color, Grace Bastidas thrive on creating and developing authentic, relevant, multi-platform content—digital, podcasts, print, video—that deeply engages audiences and propels people to action.
Currently, Grace lead a national media brand she launched in 2015 and have grown to reach an audience of 3.4 million. Building trust is essential to this role and she do that by bringing her lived experience, deep sense of empathy, and mission-driven mindset to everything she do.
Grace Bastidas is known for strategically shaping brand voice, vision, and values, and persuasively communicating those to internal stakeholders as well as external partners. By identifying macro and micro demographic shifts on the horizon, she can anticipate trends, serve consumer needs, and drive business.
Most recently, Grace co-hosted and served as a producer on a podcast geared towards mothers that led to a guest-hosting opportunity at NPR. While Grace is passionate about creating immersive audio stories, she still love the written word and have contributed to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and New York magazine, among other publications.
