As Real Simpleās Commerce Editor, you will be responsible for commerce content strategy and execution, including assigning and editing new commerce content, publishing new content in CMS, updating existing commerce content, and tracking and analyzing the success of commerce editorial efforts. This job requires both analytical and editorial skills to help you provide readers with trusted recommendations tailored to their budgets and needs. This role reports to the Associate Editorial Director on the Real Simple commerce team.

As the InStyle Senior Commerce Editor on the evergreen team, you will be responsible for helping to create and maintain the beauty and fashion content on the site. Your main goal will be to assign, edit, and publish best of roundups for the evergreen libraries. This includes a focus on tested stories, coming out of NYC lab as well as survey-based and on-staff editor testing. This role focuses primarily on fashion as you will work hand in hand with the Senior Commerce Editor for beauty, however knowledge and interest in both topics is important to the success of the team.
This role works directly with the rest of the evergreen commerce team as well as the growth/SEO team.Ā They also work closely with InStyleās news & deals and editorial teams to support guidelines for updates and standards, as well as to ensure thatĀ the articles are accurate, inclusive, comprehensive, and accessible.

The Senior Digital Food Editor will manageĀ the recipe development and photography process, create articles for website, and work with the Associate Editorial Director-Food to produce seasonal and evergreen food-driven stories and packages. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer with an eye for detail, highly organized, and experienced in researching food stories and recipes in order to produce accurate and on-brand content. This person is deadline-driven; able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; is highly organized; able to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously; collaborates with other teams; and has a firm grasp of analytics and digital publishing processes and best practices. Must be proactive in prioritizing daily, weekly, and long-term tasks while working across departments including editorial, photo, design, recipe testing, social media, and marketing. A passion for food, home cooking, and restaurants and an understanding of how to create content that connects with readers across platforms and media is a must.
